Essential Criteria for Carer Posts

In order to apply for any of these posts you must:

  • Have a full driving licence
  • Be aged 18 or over

All our carers receive the opportunity to upskill with free tuition before they begin work, says HR Manager, Rhys McCaffrey. “Staff gain an NVQ level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, as standard. We also provide any further training that is necessary to meet the individual needs of service users in the community.”

About Our Full-Time and Part-Time Care Assistants Posts

Our carers provide support to help people remain in their own homes. We will give you all the training you need for the job. So, previous experience is not necessary.

The full-time and part-time care assistants’ vacancies are on offer across the following areas:

    Shift Patterns for Full-Time and Part-Time Care Assistants

    The shift pattern details for these posts are as follows:

    Full-Time Staff: Morning, lunch & tea (approx. 7am-6pm) OR Morning to Bed (approx. 7am-11pm) working a 3-day and 4-day pattern on a fortnightly cycle)

    Part-Time Staff: Evening runs (7-11pm working a 3-day & 4-day pattern on a fortnightly cycle)

    Week 1 – rostered to work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday;

    Week 2 – rostered to work Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
